Since it's foundation in 2011 Go2Games.com has flourished from a bedroom start up to an award winning online retailer in the highly competitive sector of gaming and electronics. After years of sustained growth as a multichannel retailer Go2Games.com are pushing forward with plans to become a well knowing standalone brand with sustained growth in sales leading to the procurement of new warehouse facilities and staff. Ethically responsible: We are an independent, UK-based video game retailer and as such, we pay our taxes right back here in the UK, supporting the national economy. We pay our non-salaried staff a Living Wage. We are also a Disability Confident employer.

Local: We all live and work here in Croydon, where Go2Games was founded and is based. We work together with other local businesses – our collaboration with social enterprise Fashion Meets Music in the Centrale Shopping Centre is just one example. Community: It goes without saying but now more than ever, community is key. Being in, of and from the local community, Go2Games works alongside other community groups, local businesses and organisations to support local people. Take for instance our #keepcroydonconnected campaign to get locally donated and refurbished laptops/tablets out to young people who needed them the most due to online learning brought on by the pandemic, or our work with Crystal Palace Football Club to get consoles out to disadvantaged families and hospital wards during lockdown.

Social: We work with Legacy Youth Zone with initiatives such as donating consoles and running gaming sessions to this August’s FIFA eSports tournament, uniting players from youth clubs across the borough! Along with regular giveaways, we interview local businesses, musicians and other creatives whilst taking them on at Mario Kart – all because we believe in engendering that social ecosystem by supporting and promoting each other. Employability and skills: We employ locally and run apprenticeship schemes with the local college, acting often as the first rung on the ladder for young people who are emerging into the world of work and a hub from which to learn and acquire key skills in the workplace. We are also running a government Kickstart employment programme, getting people back into work after losing their jobs due to the global pandemic.
