Ever
wondered who built this impressive sculpture out of almost 40
million LEGO® bricks?
Miniland is the
original LEGOLAND® attraction, but have you ever wondered who
built this impressive sculpture out of almost
40 million LEGO®
bricks? Read on to find out about the day in the life of a LEGO
model maker.
7am — The Model
Makers arrive at LEGOLAND bright and early so they can check
every model before everyone else arrives. If there’s any
cleaning or repairs to be done, they have to be quick — the Park
opens at 10am!
10am — With everything ready for opening time, the Model Makers
are free to work on their
scheduled projects. Whether that’s
building brand new models,
fixing up older models, or
dreaming
up new ideas, there’s lots to do.
12.30pm — Time for lunch. With 9 places to grab a bite to eat at
LEGOLAND, there’s plenty of places to choose from.
1.30pm — Back in the
Model Makers’ Studio, the individual
projects continue. All of the LEGOLAND Model Makers have their
own personal style — many draw out their designs before they
start, others build prototypes, some just
let their creativity
flow!
3pm — Home time, where some more LEGO building might just take
place...
