Spotlight on Nora Doherty

Nora Doherty is a talented artist based in Devon. She creates colourful unique contemporary oil paintings which vibrate with colour, light and depth.

Through sheer hard work and experiment, Nora is self-taught and has learnt to use the flow and purity of colour through traditional high quality oils to transform space and landscape into highly expressive, flowing oil paintings.

Nora was honoured to be selected in 2008 by The Royal West Academy of Fine Arts, Bristol open exhibition and has exhibited in several Devon art exhibitions and contemporary art galleries throughout the UK and sold her paintings recently in the USA
