Digitised from the collections of the British Library, the Irish
newspapers collection on findmypast.ie is a rich resource for
genealogists in search of their Irish roots - making it possible to
learn what daily life was like for people in the cities, towns and
villages across Ireland in times ranging from pre-Famine era right up
until post-Irish independence in 1926. Overall date coverage for each of
